The Central Bank of Hungary and the European Investment Bank hosted the webinar “Investment and Investment Finance in Hungary”.
The pandemic has severely impacted investment activity in Hungary. Firms have to cope with substantial revenue losses which affect their investment strategies. We discussed with experts and policy makers the challenges ahead, investment needs and priorities with a special focus on digitalization and green recovery.
After the opening remarks, the results of the 2020 EIB Investment survey for Hungary were presented, followed by a presentation on the Hungarian economy and the challenges of the pandemic by the Central Bank of Hungary.
A high-level panel discussion on investment dynamics and investment gaps closed the event.
