Invest Week is a collaboration of 31 organisations, among which the European Investment Bank and the European Investment Fund, consisting of a series of events that will examine the impact of investment on sustainable growth.
Here is a selection of events with EIB Group participation:
- 22 November: Equity financing of the EU economy
Better Finance, FESE, the European Investment Fund and the European Investment Bank will host a joint conference on ‘Equity Financing of the EU Economy’. It will open with a focus on retail investment in equity markets moving onto introducing the role of SME Growth Markets, specifically focusing on how they work and what they offer. Among the speakers, Roger Havenith, Deputy CEO for the European Investment Fund.
- 23 November: Bridging the European infrastructure gap – how private capital can help deliver the Investment Plan
This invitation-only event will bring together global infrastructure investors and senior policy makers to discuss the opportunities and the barriers for private capital in fulfilling the objectives of the European Commission’s Investment Plan for Europe. Lucas Lenchant, Policy Advisor at the European Investment Bank, will take part in the discussion.
- 23 November: Sustainable finance and innovation
What will sustainable finance regulation mean for individuals and organisations across Europe? In exploring the work of the Commission’s High-Level Expert Group on Sustainable Finance (HLEG) and recent developments in ESG reporting, Eurosif, Invest Europe and the European Investment Bank hope to shed some light on the future of sustainable finance in the EU. Jonathan Taylor, EIB Vice-President, will deliver a keynote speech.
