As the world’s biggest multilateral provider of climate finance, the EIB will return this year as one of the exhibitors at “Innovate4Climate”, an event bringing together about 2,500 finance, business, technology and policy leaders. Following its participation last year in Barcelona, EIB reaffirms its commitment to putting EU climate goals into practice, through the participation of its senior experts and the organisation of a Pitch Hub targeting potential investors for initiatives addressing climate change mitigation and/or adaptation.
Monica Scatasta, EIB Head of Environment, Climate and Social Policy, and Martin Berg, EIB Senior investment officer, will be speaking at the workshop “Investment for Climate Resilience: Practical Approaches to Finance Activities and Manage Risks”. Martin Berg will also be a speaker in the workshop “Translating the Paris Agreement's Article 6 for Multilateral Development Bank Operations”, along with representatives from the World Bank, EBRD and IADB.
Daniel Farchy, EIB Investment officer, and Timothee Jaulin, AMUNDI Relationship manager, will moderate the Pitch Hub “Partnering for Green Bond market development: EIB and Amundi Planet Fund”.
