This virtual conference, organised in the context of the Portuguese Presidency of the EU Council, aims to exchange views on the health challenges triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic and on the strategic investments needed to respond to the crisis bringing together the Czech, Portuguese and European perspectives.
Indeed, the pandemic represented an unprecedented challenge to the management and response to public health crisis on a global scale, and made even more urgent a wider discussion about what is working and what needs to be improved.
This event is organised by the Portuguese Embassy to the Czech Republic, the European Investment Bank and the European Commission, in partnership with Europeum and the Institute of International relations in Prague.
