European Microfinance Week is organised by the European Microfinance Platform (e-MFP) and is supported by the Government of Luxembourg. It is the major annual event of the microfinance industry hosting high level and in-depth discussions with all sectors of the European microfinance community (banks and financial institutions, government agencies, NGO's, consulting firms, researchers and universities) working in developing countries.
The event featured several plenaries and discussions and will offer ample networking opportunities to microfinance actors. There were also various workshops held by leading speakers in the microfinance world.
