    Together on climate

The EU Bank is one of the largest providers of climate-related investment globally. Our unique expertise and financial strength gets climate projects off the ground. However, the EIB cannot meet the challenge on its own. Together with other multilateral development banks we are committed to backing investment in transformational projects that cut emissions and address a changing climate. Innovative finance is key.

    Pioneering climate finance

Innovative finance is key to mobilising private capital for climate action. The EIB develops new products, promotes pioneering approaches and creates investment opportunities to multiply its impact on the ground.
