Two initiatives supported by the EIB have been praised by French president Emmanuel Macron at the One Planet Summit in Paris. One of the projects is a new fund - the Land Degradation Neutrality Fund - where the EIB will be a cornerstone investor. The other is a collaboration with the Global Covenant of Mayors to help cities finance climate action.
