The Atlantic Action Plan aims to revitalise the marine and maritime economy in the Atlantic Ocean area. It shows how the EU's Atlantic Member States, their regions and the Commission can help create sustainable growth in coastal regions and drive forward the "blue economy" while preserving the environmental and ecological stability of the Atlantic Ocean.
As part of the implementation of the Atlantic Action Plan, the European Commission invites stakeholders to share their practical knowledge and ideas at the Atlantic Stakeholder Platform conference. The stakeholder platform is an annual event and the central hub for stakeholders of the Atlantic Strategy to meet, greet, seek ways of cooperation, share information and secure funding.
The Atlantic Stakeholder Conference represents a unique opportunity for hundreds of participants not only to increase their awareness regarding the implementation of the Atlantic Action Plan but also to meet and network with other stakeholders and participants, exchange practical ideas and engage in possible cooperation with project promoters.
This uniquely interactive event will be supported by representatives of major funding institutes (European Investment Bank, Directorate-General for Research and Innovation of European Commission, Bretagne Operational Programme, etc.) throughout dedicated networking activities and a Q&A session focused on funding possibilities.
