The European Investment Bank (EIB) and Adif AV have signed a €350 million loan to invest in conventional and high-speed railway infrastructure in Spain. Investments will target safety, sustainability and resilience, as well as renovation works and general improvements. As a result of this investment, a important number of projects will be undertaken across the country. This will improve the quality of services and make railway transport more attractive, furthering the use of more sustainable transport means.

Die Europäische Investitionsbank (EIB) und das valencianische Verkehrsunternehmen EMT haben einen Kredit über 69 Millionen Euro unterzeichnet. Mit dem Geld will EMT seine emissionsfreie Busflotte erweitern und so zu einem nachhaltigen ÖPNV beitragen.

Das EIB-Institut, die Einrichtung der Europäischen Investitionsbank-Gruppe (EIB-Gruppe) für philanthropische und soziale Projekte, spendet 300 000 Euro für die spanischen Städte und Gemeinden, die Ende Oktober und Anfang November von der Flutkatastrophe betroffen waren. Die Spendengelder werden über die nichtstaatlichen Organisationen Save the Children, SOS-Kinderdorf und Casa Caridad weitergeleitet.
