The European Investment Bank and the Bank of Greece are hosting a conference on "Transforming the Greek Economy for Competitiveness and Resilience".

The conference will unite policymakers, economists, and representatives from the financial sector and business community for a discussion on the status of the Greek economy and how to increase competitiveness in an equitable and sustainable way. The discussion will focus on the challenges Greek companies face in their investment activities, in the context of the digital and green transition, and what can be done to support Greek businesses and jobs.

After the opening remarks, the conference will feature a presentation of the results of the EIB Investment survey for Greece and the main findings of the EIB Investment Report 2023/2024, followed by a high-level panel discussion on the growth prospects and investment priorities in Greece.
