    Objectives

    The project consists of a loan to KazMicroFinance (KMF) LLC for micro-lending operations in Kazakhstan. Part of the project will be dedicated to financing of micro projects targeting climate action and environmental protection.

    This project will improve competitiveness and access to finance at favourable conditions for private micro-entreprises and self entrepreneurs in Kazakhstan.

    This operation will include an EU Political Guarantee for one tranche, corresponding to approximately 50% of the total loan.
