Description
Objectives

Co-financing with European Development Finance Institutions (EDFIs) and Agence française de Développement of climate action operations in ACP countries under co-investment agreement.

The ICCF will finance only climate-friendly investments undertaken by the private sector. Its aim is to support low carbon sustainable economic development. Main focus of the Facility is the avoidance of greenhouse gas emissions.

One of the main objectives of this operation is to mitigate climate change by supporting projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions. All projects financed under the scheme must comply with applicable environmental and social standards and must meet the relevant EIB’s standards.
