        Objectives

        The project concerns the financing of the promoter’s R&D and innovation activities.

        The knowledge generated through the RDI programme promises to hold a larger spillover potential and, thereby, would benefit society in general.

        Environmental aspects
        Procurement

        Project activities do not fall under Annexes I and II of EU Directive 97/11/EC (concerning E.I.A. requirements) and are subject only to national legislation. No particular negative impact on the environment is expected.

        The promoter operates in a fully competitive market and is thus not bound to EU Directive 93/38/EEC (see also EC Communication 2004/C 115/03), concerning supply contracts.

        Complaints mechanism

        Any complaint regarding alleged maladministration can be lodged via the EIB Complaints Mechanism. The European Ombudsman acts as an independent external accountability mechanism of the EIB.

        The EIB has a zero tolerance policy on fraud or corruption. To report allegations of fraud and corruption relating to EIB-financed projects, please contact the Investigations Division. All reports will be treated as strictly confidential and handled in line with EIB investigation procedures and the EIB Group Anti-Fraud Policy.
