    Objectives

    The project concerns the 2003-2007 Multiannual Investment Programme of Toulouse University Hospital. This forms part of the Regional Health Organisation Outline Plan adopted by the Regional Hospital Agency of the Midi-Pyrénées Region.

    Modernisation and rationalisation of existing hospital sites and restructuring around core medical and surgical centres. The project will help to improve the quality of healthcare offered to patients.

    Procurement

    An Environmental Impact Assessment was not deemed necessary by the competent authorities. As regards the management of clinical waste, the hospital is in compliance with the regulations in force.

    Invitations to tender for all relevant contracts have been or will be published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
