    Objectives

    Rehabilitation and expansion of the port of Conakry.

    To maintain the competitiveness of the port and in particular cope with a growing volume of container traffic.

    Environmental aspects
    Procurement

    The environmental impact assessment shows that the permanent negative impact on the environment of the marine area and city will be virtually nil.

    Selection of companies for the civil engineering works on the container terminal will be carried out on the basis of an international pre-qualification procedure published in the OJEC and open to companies from ACP and EU countries, in accordance with the EIB’s rules.
