Objectives

This project is a Team Europe effort, supporting the growth and reconstruction of Ukraine. It targets strategic sectors including renewable energy, transport and digital infrastructure, as well as private sector enterprises including small and medium sized enterprises and larger businesses. 

The fund is a flagship initiative supporting the private sector in Ukraine by investing in infrastructure projects and the private sector enterprises. The project is supported by Team Europe Development Financial Institutions and the European Commission. It aims to support the reconstruction and growth of the private sector and to catalyse private and institutional capital to Ukraine and advance partnership and cooperation with the European Union.

Procurement

The fund will operate in line with the EIB Group Environmental and Social Sustainability Framework.

EIB will require the promoter to ensure that implementation of the construction projects will be done in accordance with the EIB's Guide to Procurement.
