    Description
    Objectives

    The Framework Loan will finance upgrades of border crossing points on Ukraine's Trans-European Network road connecting to EU Member States and Moldova, including associated infrastructure such as terminals, facilities, access roads, and customs control equipment and software.

    The aim is to support Ukraine's goals to enhance transportation capacity, expand border crossing points, restore the international highway networks, develop primary logistics routes that strengthen connectivity between Ukraine, EU Member States and Moldova. The project will reduce transit time, lower trade cost, while fostering economic integration between Ukraine, the EU, and Moldova.

    Procurement

    The project compliance with the EIB Environmental and Social Standards will be verified at scheme allocation stage.

    The Bank will require that all Project contracts financed by the Bank are procured in accordance with the Bank's Guide to Procurement.

    Comments

    The Project is expected to benefit from the Public Sector Guarantee under the Ukraine Investment Framework.
