Description
Objectives

The project consists of a framework loan to Ecuador's State development bank to finance key projects in the field of sustainable energy.

The EIB loan will finance key projects in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sectors across Ecuador. The operation is expected to include subprojects in renewable energy generation, transmission and distribution as well as energy efficiency projects, hence contributing to climate change mitigation and improved quality of clean energy services across the country, with increased positive impacts in remote areas.
