Description
Objectives

The project consists of a multi-annual investment plan for the electricity distribution network of Serbia including substations, overhead lines, underground cables and automation. The programme aims to reduce energy losses, improve system reliability and prepare the network for increased capacity to integrate renewable energy sources.

The operation supports the upgrade and modernisation of various distribution system elements, that will translate to higher system reliability, lower maintenance costs and help reign in energy losses. It will also make the distribution grid more adaptive and capable to cope with extreme climate conditions.
