Objectives

The project consists of a Programme Loan dedicated to support SME/MidCap investments, working capital and short-term liquidity needs through the participation in non-investment grade mezzanine tranches of securitization structures. This operation is part of the economic response to the COVID-19 outbreak coordinated with the EC.

The aim is to mobilise funding resources to mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic on European SMEs and Midcaps. Sub-operations will be loans for SMEs and Midcaps to acceptable financial intermediaries, National and Regional Promotional Banks. Each sub-operation could be accompanied by other measures provided by relevant authorities.
