The project consists in a facility in support of SMEs and midcaps affected by the COVID-19 crisis mainly in the Spanish region of Catalonia.
The aim is to mobilise financial resources to mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic on local companies. Sub-operations will be loans for SMEs and Midcaps.
Final beneficiaries will be requested to comply with applicable national and EU legislation, as appropriate.

Complaints mechanism
Any complaint regarding alleged maladministration can be lodged via the EIB Complaints Mechanism. The European Ombudsman acts as an independent external accountability mechanism of the EIB.
