    Objectives

    The operation consists of a programme Loan to finance social and affordable housing units in Austria.

    Final beneficiaries of the EIB financing will be limited-profit housing development companies, commercial property companies and local authorities.

    Procurement

    The Programme Loan benefits from a 13.8% Climate Action component.

    The promoters has to ensure that contracts for the implementation of the project have been tendered in accordance with the relevant applicable EU procurement legislation 2014/24/EU and 2014/25/EU where applicable, as well as Directive 92/13/EEC or Directive 89/665/EEC as interpreted by the Court of Justice of the EU, with publication of tender notices in the EU Official Journal, as and where required.
