    Objectives

    Loan to finance small-sized investments promoted by self-employed entrepreneurs and micro-enterprises with 10 or fewer employees

    Enabling access to finance at favorable conditions to a wider spectrum of very small companies, which usually face more severe credit restrictions. The launch of a dedicated intermediated loan would also increase visibility of the EIB product among both potential final beneficiaries and the general public.
