    Description
    Objectives

Construction of a set of 25 projects of 12 MW, totaling 300MW. The project is located in the town of Cestas, in the Aquitaine region.

The project contributes to national and European targets for renewable energy production and thus to European Union objectives in terms of action against climate change and for the security and sustainability of energy supply.

    Environmental aspects
    Procurement

The project is expected to have limited environmental impact during construction and operation. An environmental impact assessment (EIA) has been performed. The Bank will review the EIA during appraisal, including a verification of compliance with national and EU environmental and biodiversity regulations.

The promoter is a private company not operating in the utilities sector and in principle not having the status of a contracting authority. It would thus not be covered by EU directives on procurement.
