Objectives

Dedicated credit line for SME’s in the Slovak Republic.

The proposed credit line is fully consistent with the EU objectives and responds to the definition of SME and convergence financing as a strategic priority objectives for the Bank. The credit line is expected to be mainly utilised for the financing of investments in the industry and services sectors promoted by SMEs, supporting the increased lending target of the Bank for this priority objective. The proposed credit line is therefore eligible under Article 267 paragraph (c) of the EC Treaty.
