Objectives

Credit line focussing on small and medium-sized eligible investments in the EU with the focus on projects under the energy priority objective.

The proposed credit line is dedicated for financing of small scale projects in the energy sector. Working in co-operation with Commerzbank, the Bank financing will be reaching a large number of small investment projects that normally would not qualify for direct EIB funding. The sub-projects are expected to represent a mix of investments relating to different operational categories under the eligibility “Energy”.
