    Objectives

    Credit line facility for financing SMEs in Portugal.

    The operation concerns a facility for the financing of projects promoted essentially by SMEs in Portugal. It will therefore contribute to EU and EIB priority objective of fostering investments by SMEs. A large share of the investments will be carried out in convergence regions. The operation is therefore eligible for financing under the EC Treaty Article 267 a) Convergence and c) Common European interest (SME).
