Objectives

Infrastructure schemes supporting sustainable development of small to medium-sized local authorities located in the Emilia Romagna Region.

Those investments include mostly safety and environmental enhancements in the local road network, upgrading of primary and secondary school services (school buildings), improvements of the urban environment and sustainable urban renewal.

Procurement

The relevant European directives have been transposed into regional law and the promoters are required to follow them. The Bank will request in particular that the rules for EIA and natural reserve are strictly adhered to.

The promoter and final beneficiaries follow European procurement procedures.
