    Description
    Objectives

    The project concerns the expansion of two Science and Technology Parks and the setting up of three new Parks, in support of the Galicia Plan for Research, Development and Technological Innovation 2006-2010. The five Parks are located in Galicia (Spain), a Convergence region.

    The investment aims to build a suitable infrastructure for business, providing research infrastructure and services in order to encourage research innovations, and to utilise knowledge and expertise in business operations as a resource for job creation and regional development.

    Procurement

    The determination made by the competent authorities for requesting (or not) an EIA will be verified during project appraisal.

    The promoter’s procurement procedures are expected to be in compliance with EU and national procedures applicable for public authorities’ procurement; the procedures followed will be reviewed during appraisal.
