        Procurement

        The project will contribute to enhancing the attractiveness of rail in comparison with road transport. This will result in a reduction in the number of journeys undertaken by private car and limit the harmful effects associated with this mode of transport (accidents, local atmospheric pollution and noise).

        The international invitations to tender for TER rolling stock were published by SNCF in the OJEU of 26/6/2000 (AGC) and 08/11/1997 (TER 2 ng).
