The project concerns the co-financing of state support schemes under EU Structural Funds for investements in 2006 and 2007, promoted notably by SMEs. The investments will exclusively be located in the Free State of Saxony and include RDI investments.
The aim of this project is the support of corporate investment in an Objective 1 – assisted area, primarily SMEs. A part of the scheme focuses on research, development and innovation.
European and national legislation will be applied, in accordance with standard requirements for EU supported grant schemes.
German public procurement law complies fully with Directives 92/50/EEC, 93/36/EEC and 93/37/EEC. Hence any required tenders will be organised in compliance with these procurement directives.

Complaints mechanism
Any complaint regarding alleged maladministration can be lodged via the EIB Complaints Mechanism. The European Ombudsman acts as an independent external accountability mechanism of the EIB.
Zero tolerance against fraud and corruption
The EIB has a zero tolerance policy on fraud or corruption. To report allegations of fraud and corruption relating to EIB-financed projects, please contact the Fraud and Investigation division. All complaints will be treated as strictly confidential and handled in line with the EIB investigation procedures and the Anti-Fraud Policy.
