        Description
        Objectives

        The project concerns the construction of a new container terminal and related maritime civil works (dykes and quays) to extend the facilities of the Port of Algeciras.

        The overall objective of the project is to accommodate the increasing needs of both seaside and wharf facilities that current traffic forecasts demand. The Port is a key transport node for international container traffic and is located in an Objective 1 region.
