Line of credit from EIB own resources to support CDB lending operations in the Caribbean and, as a second phase, an investment in CDB's share capital and a guarantee facility from IF Resources.
Global loan to finance small and medium sized projects in the Caribbean region.
All investments financed under the proposed loan will be required to comply with the relevant legal framework in borrowing countries and to be acceptable in environmental terms to the Bank.
The Bank’s standard procurement guidelines applicable to Global Loans will apply.
All sectors eligible under CDB guidelines including inter alia agriculture, agro industry, manufacturing, tourism, transport, education, power, water and environmental protection.

Complaints mechanism
Any complaint regarding alleged maladministration can be lodged via the EIB Complaints Mechanism. The European Ombudsman acts as an independent external accountability mechanism of the EIB.
Zero tolerance against fraud and corruption
The EIB has a zero tolerance policy on fraud or corruption. To report allegations of fraud and corruption relating to EIB-financed projects, please contact the Fraud and Investigation division. All complaints will be treated as strictly confidential and handled in line with the EIB investigation procedures and the Anti-Fraud Policy.
