The Project will support the implementation of academic university-based development.
The Framework Loan will fund the State’s budgetary contribution to support investment expenditures connected with the implementation of academic university-based development, conducted by academic teachers employed in multi-faculty and accredited public universities, and where activities are deemed important for the development and accumulation of knowledge and the expansion of the Polish Knowledge Based Economy. Under this Facility the Bank may finance (i) capital investment expenditures and (ii) eligible wage costs.
Schemes will be designed in accordance with relevant Polish and EU environmental regulations including Environmental Impact Assessments where appropriate.
The Polish Public Procurement Law has been harmonised with the EU legislation upon the country’s entry to the EU and complies with the EU Procurement Directives (93/36/EEC, 93/37/EEC and 93/38/EEC).
