Objectives

The project consists of construction of train and tramway infrastructure.

The project will increase quality, interoperability and reliability of railway services operating on the Basque network and thereby will promote sustainable transport solutions in line with EU transport policy objectives.

Procurement

Compliance with EU environmental directives and national laws shall be ensured.

Procurement procedures applied by the promoter are in compliance with Council Directives applicable to public authorities' procurement, and national legislation.
