The project forms part of the Urban Transport Plan adopted on 21 December 2000 by the relevant local authorities and aims to enhance the attractiveness of public transport in urban areas, thus helping to improve the environment and quality of life.

    Procurement

In accordance with national legislation, the project has undergone an environmental impact assessment as part of the Public Interest Declaration process. Once completed, it will help to reduce the various types of nuisance associated with car traffic, while at the same time benefiting local tourism and making it easier for people to get around.

The Communauté d’Agglomération of Nice Côte d’Azur is a body subject to EU procurement directives. All works contracts financed by the Bank will be issued in line with the provisions of European Union law.
