    Objectives

    The Project comprises The refurbishment/re-build of 3 secondary and 20 primary schools in Cornwall, England, including provision of facilities management services.

    The project will improve the educational environment in the project schools and will provide an opportunity to reshape educational provision in Cornwall. The project is part of a larger initiative of renewal of educational infrastructure in line with regional development in the area.

    The EIB will review the environmental impact assessment required under the statutory approval process in the UK.

    The project was advertised in the Official Journal in September 2002 and preferred bidder is expected to selected in August 2003.
