Description
Objectives

Financing of the construction of certain urban by-passes as well as up-grading and rehabilitation works on determined national trunk roads.

The loan proceeds will contribute to improving local living standards and preventing a further deterioration of the existing road infrastructure. Finally, the project contributes to increased road security. Retained schemes will be implemented to achieve compliance with current EU levels so that the project assists Hungary in its EU accession efforts.

The Bank will require the promoter to ensure compliance of the individual investment schemes with relevant national and EU Directives.

The related works contracts will be awarded by open international tendering as per the standard requirements of the Bank.
