Description
Objectives

The project principally comprises the construction of urban relief roads, small secondary and interconnecting local roads (Landesstraßen) between urban areas, bridges and clearing of sites and site preparation works within the urban areas in preparation for the settlement mainly of SME's.

In addition to the obvious transport benefits, the project will contribute to improving the connectivity between settlements within the region and within the settlements themselves, which will generate a number of positive externalities.

Environmental aspects
Procurement

For all road construction, an EIA is mandatory in the Federal Republic of Germany in line with Directive EC 97/11. These have been or are in the process of being undertaken.

EU procurement regulations are observed by the promoter.
