Terna: agreement with the EIB for a loan of € 200 million

One World Media unveiled the nominees for this year’s Awards in each category, including the Women’s Solutions Reporting Award, supported by the European Investment Bank.

Bayern Kapital, die Venture- und Growth-Capital-Gesellschaft des Freistaats Bayern, begrüßte am 9. Mai 2025 Nicola Beer, die Vizepräsidentin der Europäischen Investitionsbank (EIB), in München. Anlass war der gemeinsame Besuch zweier Münchener Startups, an denen Bayern Kapital mit dem Wachstumsfonds Bayern 2 beteiligt ist: OroraTech und Tubulis. Der Wachstumsfonds Bayern 2 wurde im Jahr 2020 von der LfA Förderbank Bayern gemeinsam mit Bayern Kapital aufgelegt. Die Europäische Investitionsbank hatte sich im Jahr 2021 mit 50 Mio. Euro am Wachstumsfonds Bayern 2 als Gesellschafterin beteiligt. Insgesamt stand damit ein Gesamtvolumen von 165 Millionen Euro zur Verfügung um bayerische Startups bei ihren Wachstumsvorhaben zu begleiten.

The European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) have deepened their long-standing partnership by signing a Mutual Reliance Agreement on environmental and social aspects. The agreement will  make it easier to finance projects together and get them off the ground more  quickly in common countries of operation. It  will also reduce red tape for our our clients.
