Evropska investicijska banka je razmotrila odluku Evropskog ombudsmana u predmetu koji je pokrenula jedna kompanija iz Italije u vezi s javnim tenderom za izgradnju mosta u Bosni i Hercegovini (178/2014/AN). Banka blisko sarađuje s Ombudsmanom u svim predmetima koji je se tiču, tako da je u potpunosti sarađivala s Ombudsmanom i u ovom slučaju. U svojoj odluci Ombudsman se suzdržao od davanja konkretnih preporuka. Banka smatra da nije pogriješila u tumačenju tenderske dokumentacije u ovom predmetu, i nastavit će sarađivati s Ombudsmanom i sačiniti odgovarajuće odgovore za sve relevantne strane u odluci. Evropska investicijska banka se slaže s Ombudsmanom u pogledu značaja snažnih, učinkovitih i transparentnih mehanizama nabavki i nastavit će preispitivati svoje politike o nabavkama.

Ongoing attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure continue to disrupt electricity supply across the country. During prolonged outages and freezing temperatures, heating points – known in Ukraine as “Points of Invincibility” – play a critical role, offering warm and safe spaces where people can stay during blackouts, access hot water, charge phones and receive basic support. District heating networks: Belgian developer KARNO to receive EU grant to mobilise €82.5 million in decarbonised investments.
This signing of an ELENA agreement with the European Investment Bank (EIB) will support KARNO in scaling up the deployment of decarbonised heating and cooling solutions at the heart of the energy transition. ELENA is a grant facility for energy efficiency, financed by the European Commission’s InvestEU programme and implemented by the EIB Advisory Services.
