Three specific topics were explored:
- Team Europe: Partnerships for impact, cooperation and co-financing instruments (e.g. mutual reliance, European Financing Partners for COVID-19, Vienna Bank Coordination Initiative …)
- Countercyclical measures: resources mobilisation, leveraging, guarantees, innovative approaches and engagements, the EU’s recovery package and the amended multiannual financial framework proposal (e.g. EFSD, NDICI), ensuring an effective EU development finance architecture.
- Transformative agenda: support climate action and digital transition, human development (education, health), food security, gender, reinforce resilience and address poverty gap.
