Description
Objectives

This investment is an allocation of funds under the Enel Energy & Renewable framework loan 2020-0823 - ENEL ENERGY EFFICIENCY & RENEWABLES FL (LATAM), consisting of electricity distribution investments in Brazil. These aim at extending and modernizing the network, to add new renewable energy capacity to the network, reduce losses and improve quality and safety of supply.

The aim is to enable he Promoter to develop and modernise the electricity distribution network to connect new users, including renewable energy generation. It will also improve the quality and reliability of electricity supply - measured by the level of losses and interruptions of the service, monitored by the national regulator - thus contributing to secure energy supply. By connecting a number of low-income customers, the programme will contribute to expand social and economic inclusion.
