Description
Objectives

The line of credit will be used to finance both public and private sector projects, including SMEs, within CDB’s BMCs and in CDB’s eligible sectors.

This operation aims to support: 1) regional integration through infrastructure and private sector development; and 2) climate action projects.

Environmental aspects
Procurement

All projects financed under the proposed line of credit will be required to comply with the relevant national or regional framework, to be acceptable in environmental terms to the EIB and in line with EU environmental policy.

EIB procurement guidelines for credit lines will be applied.
