        Objectives

        The project concerns research and engineering related to automotive engine- and transmission systems aimed, in particular, at the increase of fuel efficiency and reduction of emissions of CO2, NOx and particulates.

        Procurement

        The project concerns research and engineering activities that will be carried out within existing facilities. These R&D-activities will neither differ from those currently being carried out nor entail any modification to these facilities and are unlikely to have any significant environmental impact. An EIA is not required by the EIA Directive 85/337, amended by 97/11 and by 2003/35/EC. Form A is not required.

        The promoter is a private company not operating in the Utilities sector, and is thus not covered by EU Directives on procurement.
