Objectives

Global loan facility to finance, throughtout Italy, projects of SMEs (with less than 250 employees) in industry, services and tourism as well as eligible small and medium-sized investments in energy, environmental protection, human capital and i2i sectors.

At least 70% will be utilised in favour of SMEs.

To sustain mainly projects aiming to reinforce the productivity and competitiveness of SMEs as well as other investments compliant with the EU eligibility criteria.

Complying with EU procurement procedures. For large investments the Bank recommends that international bidding procedures be followed whenever possible, even if EU directives do not apply.
