    Description
    Objectives

    The project concerns the financing of Bavaria’s expenditure for public-sector research for the period 2004-2005. Investments mainly concern basic and applied research carried out by research institutions and the public universities in the state.

    The project will assist the Free State of Bavaria in implementing its R&D programmes over the period 2004-2005, and will thus strengthen the research infrastructure of the concerned scientific and academic institutions, increasing their productivity and improving Germany’s readiness to contribute to the Lisbon targets and the common European Research Area.
