Description
Objectives

The project concerns the co-financing of schemes and programmes to be supported by EU funds under Poland’s National Development Plan.

The Bank’s loan is intended to help the Polish authorities meet a part of the State’s contribution to approved projects in a way that will help Poland to begin implementation of the National Development Plan in early 2004.

Schemes under this category will be designed in accordance with relevant Polish and EU environmental regulations including EIAs where appropriate.

Compliant with EU Directives.

Comments

Investments under the Cohesion Fund Strategy and measures included in the Sector Operating Programmes for Transport, Competitiveness of Enterprises and Human Resource Development as well as the Integrated Regional Operational Programme are the main candidates for EIB co- financing.
