EIB staff participated in a range of roundtable discussions and conferences concerning the Bank's transparency and information policy and its lending operations, organised by NGOs since the beginning of 2000. These events took place in the context of an increased dialogue between EIB and NGOs. The Bank's first regular contacts with NGOs date back to the early nineties.
