    Aspects environnementaux

The project is part of the Hungarian Transport Operational Programme that was subject to a Strategic Environmental Assessment in compliance with the SEA Directive 2001/42/EC. The project is a composite operation including the construction of new tramway lines in the towns of Szeged, Miskolc and Debrecen that fall under Annex II of the EIA Directive 85/337/EEC as subsequently amended.
